This camera can easily approach the image quality and feature-set of many compact cameras. This is a real camera, if you inspect the EXIF data embedded in the JPEG output from this camera it shows all the normal detail you would expect from a camera. Also its shot-to-shot time is great, it has fast auto-focus and a quick camera mode activation. I have a compact camera already (and a DSLR), but you know that you take the best photographs with the camera you have with you and I never leave the house without my cellphone.
