Motorola RAZR3 surfaces

By: T-Marco February 22nd, 2009

Today we are seeing new rumors that the Motorola is preparing to continue their RAZR line. The RAZR 3 Vxx will be enclosed in a metal case, a little bit smaller than the Razr 2 V9. The internal display will maintain 6 customizable sensory elements for quick access to applications. We only hope that this time T-Mobile will get the 3G version, and maybe even an exclusive, but of course we’re not going to push our luck.

Expected characteristics of Motorola RAZR3:

  • 3G/HSDPA 3G/HSDPA Network
  • Operating System Symbian UIQ 3.3
  • 5-MP camera with autofocus and LED flash
  • GPS-receiver
  • Wi-Fi Support for wireless Wi-Fi (mobile calling??? )

Interesting (not really). I’d place this info under “bogus” category. UIQ is dead so I don’t see Moto implementing an OS that was proclaimed dead just weeks ago.

    Three things:

    1. I seriously doubt if this phone could save motorola again, like it did with the first one. This basically looks like the same deal allover (the rAZR2) with camera, wifi, and gps, features that are available on most other phones already. the 5mp camera is useless if the pic quality is poor. The UI is no different either. Not every Wi-Fi phone supports wifi calling.

    2. If this doesnt have T-Mobile’s 3G freq, bummer. If it does, it Would be nice if it had (1700 and European 2100) or 1700,850,1900.

    3. I hope this supports Video calling for both persons on the line (not the Video share that ATT uses), since the camera can also face towards the user when the flip is open
