I like the idea of 3G roaming with a data card. Now, if only they would come up with a 3G phone that could do 3G roaming... It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to make a quad band 3G radio that supports T-Mobile's 3G frequencies.

GT 307 is already available for Stelera Wireless, and works 100% with T-Mobile HSPA, T-Mobile simply pick it up and sell it

in addition, i'm glad to see this is a mini-pci solution. i have a spare slot in my leptop and wouldnt mind filling it with this instead of an internal BT card.

it's about time... well, almost, as it has yet to hit the shops. i'm still kinda amazed that this wasnt a launch device on Oct1st when they officially "went live".

maybe they're saving it for their upcoming rate increase: http://tmonews.com/2008/10/t-mobile-updating-data-prices/

looks like the mandatory "success" of the G1 pricing model is going to trickle down to all of their phones, i.e. mandatory messaging bundles with data plans and raising the data plan floor from $20 to $25 per month.
