		<description>I am on my G1 right now and it took maybe 3 seconds for this website to load my girlfriend got the new iphone 3G and my phone is a little bit faster even after I have downloaded tons of stuff, she hasn&#039;t even put hers on itunes or downloaded anything on it.</description>

1. the iphone 3g is UMTS HSDPA only, so it&#039;s theoretical max is only 3.5Mbit/S compared to the G1&#039;s HSDPA and HSUPA compatibility that has a theoretical max of 7.2Mbit/S.

2. T-Mobile&#039;s network is much more mature and fully vetted as they&#039;ve been working on it in the background for years due to their inability to launch until recently.  you wont see their network come apart at the seams like you saw when the iPhone was released.</description>
