I work (non-technical role) for Huawei and have had a chance to play with the M750. It's relatively small for all the features it has – camera, MP3 player (with a Micro SD slot), etc. The touchscreen work pretty well, even with my fat fingers I can text without the stylus. No idea what the price will be, but as a rule Huawei's products are very price competitive.

As to whether it will be a good phone, only time will tell. But since pretty much every phone is made in China the quality shouldn't be vastly different than any other phone. Scheduled for release the 19th or 26th of October.

I work for Metro and the price is assumed to be $200.
For an unlimited plan with a touch screen I think this is perfect.
Our only other touch screen is $349 so I think this gives customers a nice alternative.
You just can't expect all the features of the $349 touch screen on the $200 touch screen.

Huawei is leading brand in Asia specially for CDMA technology. But they manufacture GSM switches too. Should be a good product. ( quality should be good) 4 years back I have used Huawei CDMA Desktop telephone line in Sri Lanka it was really good. Now its time for CDMA mobile phones, Metro PCS should be doing good with CDMA technology.

I've bought not too long ago the Samsung Massager II …oh my god what a p of s …no service at all. The store barely took it back after just one day. Than I bought a Nokia…oh my God, it's worse. I do not buy a cell phone to play games or take a pictures …I need the cell for my job. I am an outside sales rep . No cell phone reception …no job for me ….than NO food for my baby. Metro PCS employees can't guaranty not a bit the service that you will get with that phone .Metro should train their sales people better , selling comes after you find out the needs of the buyer….IT'S NOT HARD METRO PCS, YOU CAN DO IT. This company's problem isn't the service (SIGNAL) but the phones that they are selling and unqualified, untrained, rude employees.
I've been their customer for about five years and now I will have to switch because I can't keep buying phones and stack them at home not being able to use them.
Is there anybody there that can tell me for real what is the phone that will get a good reception in Northen Cali and Bay Area….I drive a lot.

I bought the phone on sat and am already thinking to return the phone. For a touch screen it's ok. Thing I do not like about it is that it does not have video. Plus it never reads memory cards have tried several but never works. Those are my only two complaints. Reception works great.

I have the Huawei M750 touch screen phone and it works great and has darn good signal plus I really like the easy to use features, I have large hands and the stylus is a great plus for me using these phones because when using my last phone service I had the verizon EnV2 and it was hard getting my fingers to hit just one button.

I just bought one and really like it , its easy to use and I like the large screen plus it has some cool features like free weather forecast first thing in the morning that come up on it. I bought one for my wife first and she like it so much and was all jazzed about it I just had to have one and I am so glad I did. The M750 cost me $199 plus I get a mail in rebate of $20 and it also comes with an extra stylus and a USB cord for transfering pictures or music from your computer while rechargeing the phone.

I've had service w/ MetroPcs for over 4 yrs with the same phone, Motorola V325i. My daughter has gone through many MetroPcs phs, keeps losing them. With all the phs she's ever had, my phone has always out preformed hers in one way or another. I can get reception in areas where she cannot, is the main one. I need an upgrade. Need more memory, better internet, & newer technology. Been looking for over a year now. Waiting for something with the same quality & performance as my old ph, but upgraded. Was disappointed when Motorola's touch screen with slider didn't make to MetroPcs, because it had all the features that I wanted. I work outside & a touch screen doesn't wk w gloves on. MetroPcs does fall down in the department of listing all the features it's phones have & what it can do. I'm interested in what this ph can bring to the table.

I plan to swith from att to metro soon and have chosen this one to buy. of course there is not much info about this phone as well as any manufacturer support web page. There are few questions:

Does the Huawei M750 support sync with Outlook? ( I have about 500 phone numbers in my phone book to transfer)
How long the battery holds the charge (in reality)?
Does the Huawei M750 support Java apps?

if you want ringtones for this specific phone, I'm pretty sure my way will work. So you can create your own custom ringtones… go to you tube . com and search for Free Metro PCS Ringtones (HOW TO GUIDE)… good luck

I'm Not %100 percent sure, but it won't hurt to try my method. I've done this method for numerous metro pcs ringtones and has always worked. If you get a picture message with audio here's the quick step by step method to use so you can save the picture / audio to your phone. (NOTE: ALL HACKERS ARE NOT BAD : ) )

TUTORIAL:
STEP:1
When you recieve your picture / audio message there will most likely be 2 pages. 1 Page with the picture and the 2 page with the audio.
CLICK DOWN to go to the 2 page wait for the audio to play. Click on OPTIONS, SAVE OBJECT (AUDIO). RENAME the file to whatever you want and click SAVE.

STEP: 2
Go to your RINGTONES and the audio should be there in your RINGTONES section. Set the ringtone to call,txt ect…

The above method is pretty obvious to the majority of people and really isn't a hack. But if you want to create your own ringtones and send them to your phones. It's basically the same thing, but you send the audio to your own phone number : )

OK I got the Huawei on Friday 11/06/09 and I got to say I did my research to find a better phone on Metropcs. I waited it out and this phone is great! The ONLY DOWN FALL that I am having is that NO memory card will work in it yet! The sound is great, pic are good for the size of the pixels and the touch screen that I've goten use too works fab! Huawei maybe new to the US with it's cell products, but it's not a new company to the US. For the $199 price with $20 mail-in rebate it's a good buy for Metropcs.

I agree this phone is really nice, I had a Samsung and traded it in due to the comments I had seen. Trust me when I say this phone is really worth the money and has some pretty damn cool features….for example you can set a time on the phone when you want it to turn off and turn back on or if you set the alarm and shut your phone off the alarm will turn on the for a period of time until you get up. VERY NICE PHONE and COOL FEATURES…..Well worthe the $200!!!

take all your stuff off your memory stick and format it. Put all your stuff back on the chip and it should work…

so im really wanting to get this phone but moneys tight as evryone knows but is it worth it? an i txt alot is the keypad easy to txt normal an with the qwtery keypad? aslo does it seem fragile or tough b.c ima guy an my ophones can go trhough some tough shit at time?

I've been with Metro PCS since they began (about 8 years ago) and the best phone that they ever made was the Nokia 6265i! I have had that phone now for 3 years and it's still going strong!!! I don't think that any of the new phones will EVER top that! Nokia is the best!

This phone works great the screen and camera work fine it is worth the money…DO NOT BUY RINGTONES FROM METRO there is a cheaper way you have to buy a micro sd card from wallmart or target put it in your phone, then go to your main menu, my files,format memory card (this will take a few seconds) then plug you phone into your computer using the usb cable your phone came with,you have to go back to the menu on your phone,go to settings,one of the options will be connectivity settings click it,go to usb mode and activate it,a screen will come up on your computer go to the bottom and click open folder to view files, then you can drag songs from other files or itunes to there(under my music) and it should load to your phone instantly….it is much cheaper and you will have full songs instead of the 10 second crap you buy from metro and you can use the songs you load as ringtones
o and your computer will not be able to put music on your phone unless you have a micro sd card AND YOU HAVE TO FORMAT YOUR SD CARD FOR IT TO WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the phone has a touch keypad. the txting screen is kinda small but you get used to it. the mp3 works great just buy a memory card (micro sd) and you will have tons of space on your phone. read the other comments it tells you how to put ringtones on you phone through your computer its much easyer i did it. as far as the camera its not the best but its not the worst

This is a great phone but I cannot get the phone to play MP3s from memory card, I have formatted the card myself took it to the store, and they were able to play my disc on every phone there except the huawei m750s. None of them would play it. They are trying to get it resolved w/tech support but if they cannot figure it out by today I will request a refund. Too bad because the phone is awesome other than not playing music. Did anyone else have the same problem even after formatting the disc?? I would love to keep this phone.

Hi, I got the phone 1 week ago, and it was so eazy to get used to it, I`ve seen a lot of poeple could not download there songs to it, I did it today. 1st: go to menu. 2nd: settings. 3rd: connectivity settings. 4th: usb mode. then connect the wire to your computer, and a message will appear on your phones screen saying; mass storage: press active ect..
and you follow the steps. and you can also use windows media player 11 to download your favorite songs.

Does only Window 11 work? Bc I have the phone and its amazing and I love it. But everytime I download songs to it or I think that I am. It doesnt work, it doesnt put them on my phone and I've done all of those steps. Thats the only thing that seems to be wrong with it. Just wondering if you could help. =]

I go the to Mountain View Store and I haven't had bad service yet. I don't go in often about every 3 or 4 years to trade in my phone and they are always nice. I was going to get the side kick one year and I asked them if it was a good phone and they told me people was returning them. I always go there and get good feed back when i ask a question.

Can you store more than 25 emails in this phone? If so please tell me how to change the pre-set setting that limits you to 25 emails.

I bought the Huawei M750 about 10 days ago, it has continually frozen up and is not very user friendly; very low quality as far as I'm concerned. Metro PCS has replaced the phone with an exact duplicate twice already, and is refusing to stand by their 30 day 'no questions asked' return policy. Can anyone tell me how I can get them to honorable return this phone and let me get a model of phone that actually works? Please advise: 916 969-2427

i want this fone for chritstmas, but my dad gave me two choices on wich fone im getting: Huawei M750 or Motorola Hint. wich one should i get? if iget the touch screen &later on brake it, im screwed and wont get a fone for like 2yrs.

my dad bought me it cause my other phone broke. So far it works good. But i think it is kinda hard to txt without the stylus. it takes like three times to get the right key. But i really love the phone. But im gettin the finess for christmas .

i live in southern cali. and you are right somw mngrs. and reps do suck. i even got crappy service at their corporate store. so i called the bbb and set things straight did some reseach and got a good local here where all the ladies arfe polite to everyone. and the store manager is friendly. buy the huawei it fun. i have had it for 2 months no complains bout it.

okay….i have the motorola hint and i love it its really a good ass phone. the camera is great take pictures of thing can zoom in well. durable. internet great. Only thing i dont like about it that it takes forever for a multi media message to come through…like they'll send it and you'll get it 5 hours or in some cases days later. but the memory is awesome and the bluetooth is too. now get the huawei and test it out dont go over a hour in talk time or they wont take it back. play with it and try to figure things out and if you dont like it go get the motorola hint. hoped i helped.

ill be honest,, my girlfriend has the IPHONE and i have metropcs HUAWEI m750,,, and guess what,,,, my gf likes my phone much better than the iphone… and soo do i… Also with the size being smaller i like it much much better..

Well I am an owner of the Huawei M750 and I am not happy. However its two things that I'm not happy with and that is it does not take to your MP3 Micro SD card when I played the music on my old blackberry it played just fine but then I transferred it to the Huawei and it didn't play any of the music' I even formatted it and still nothing. 2. the Qwerty key pad is to small and I have to use the stylus. of which I don't mind but it can be a hassle sometimes. But other than that It's a cool phone it does play animated screen savers and the sound on it is great. I'm just waiting for metro to come out with the new blackberry it should be out sometime in Jan.

I have it and it is okay… :/ it does not have a landscape mode and using the stylus all the time is kinda annoying…the camera is okay…it took a really cool pic of my cat and takes clear pictures as good as my digital camera… I would not necessarily recommend it due to the fact that if you want MP3 from your pc you have to get a little memory card and no landscape….

My m750 gets AMAZING service as long as I am by a window but the service I have gotten at my local Metro PCS store it AMAZING the clerk I have is really helpful and even told me how to download free pics and ringtones to my phone I think for the quality of service Metro PCS provides for the Price there is no competition or anything better…for 45 dollars a month you can get unlimited talk text and web

I have this phone and I use a Sandisk chip it works on most phones and It works on this phone.

I have this phone and my cousin and friends are able to send me pictures and ringtones onto my phone.

buy a sandisk chip it will work for this phone because I use it and it reads perfectly fine.
