Pretty much seams that the exclusive days of the Blackberry Pear Flip 8220 for T-Mobile are going to end soon specially now that T-Mobile will push the Blackberry 8220 by dropping the price to 79.99. Verizon Wireless, on Q2 2009 is planing to launch the Blackberry Pear Flip 8230 CDMA/EDVO version. What color?, in white/silver. Generally we’re used to waiting about a year for CDMA versions of BlackBerrys.
We’ve received a solid tip regarding Verizon and the un-released CDMA BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230. Sources have confirmed that Verizon will be launching the Pearl Flip 8230 most likely Q2 2009. Our very reliable source says that Verizon will likely launch it in silver. Just like the other Pearl smartphones the Flip is expected to be highly customizable with a varrity of OEM BlackBerry accessories and have a very reasonable price tag. So just to recap Pearl Flip on Verizon.
Also, The HTC Diamond is coming to Verizon. Sprint will not longer the exclusive carrier of the CDMA version of the Diamond. Moving on to the features, the HTC Touch Diamond for Verizon will run Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional Edition, but rather than being content with the standard Microsoft Office Mobile Suite, and the Opera Web browser. We’re sure many will be pleased with inclusion of these applications, which are arguably more robust than the former. Wireless options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (with A2DP support), EV-DO Rev. A, and GPS with support for Verizon Navigator.
There are more exiting news from Verizon but those will come later.. I believe a war will arrive soon between T-Mobile and Verizon.
Stay tuned for more details when we get them!
