Google Voice

Google is getting ready to launch the official Google Voice application for both Android and BlackBerry platforms. The application lets you make calls and send texts through your Google Voice number and integrates with the service’s excellent visual voicemail and voice transcription service.

“Today, we’re happy to announce Google Voice for mobile which brings voicemail transcriptions, the ability to call and text with your Voice number, and cheap international dialing to your mobile phone. David and I were inspired to build this app when we went skiing for a weekend in Tahoe. Like all good Google Mobile team members, we each had three or four phones with us. Of course, carrying three phones while skiing is pretty tough, so we both decided to take a different phone to the slopes each day to see which one worked best as a ‘winter sport device’.”

I don’t Know why you are talking Google voice up because it is junk. It uses all your voice minutes for phone calls and text with are phone providers they are not.

    dave good point,
but that really should only be a concern if you are on limited plans or strapped for minutes. Google voice isn’t for everyone.

It’s pretty amazing what you can do online ..It was not that long ago that you were wondering who just called your when you were not
at home. Now you can only see who’s the unknown caller .. and also spy on who’s talking to your lover :) )

It’s crazy … You can even find the address by a simple phone number.. Wonder what’s gonna come next ?
