My touch3G and G1 users, Google and Android have great news for you. Today Google has announced the new availability of the Google Maps Navigation for Android 1.6.The Google Maps Navigation was only available to Android 2.0 phones, but now that is not longer true.

“Google Maps Navigation is an internet-connected GPS system with voice guidance and automatic rerouting, all running on your mobile phone. Using Google services over your phone’s data connection brings important benefits to GPS navigation users, like using Google search (typed or spoken) to enter your destination; fresh map, business, and traffic data; and satellite and Street View imagery along your route.”

Using it on my G1 right now. Takes a bit of forum investigation but it works flawlessly.

Much respect for the person that figured out how to put it on the G1 phone and Google of course.

Educated and literate people can do better jobs as compared to the people who are uneducated and illiterate. Education is a very helpful factor and always gives people to people.

Thanks a lot for sharing the post. I love reading it. By the way Android 5.1 is out in the market. And I would suggest you to download the PlayBox HD Android app if you already have Android 4.0 or newer
