Google Maps 6.0, introduces Indoor search

By: t-marco November 29th, 2011

Google Maps for Android 6.0 just hit Android Market adding indoor floorplans to its box of tricks. When you zoom-in far enough on supported buildings, Google Maps will now display detailed indoor maps, instead of just showing blank space.

Maps 6.0 also features a new top menu element that allows you to quickly jump between features and a new Places homescreen that gathers┬árelevant info about various restaurants, shops, and other establishments around you. It’s all available now for free if you’ve got an Android 2.2 phone or higher.
