Fom Samsung Twitter account : Samsung tweeted: “The Froyo upgrade will be available in the UK from early November and we expect all operator versions to be available by the end of November.”

You heard that: Samsung Vibrant and other like the Captivate, will get Froyo or Android 2.2 in November. Back in October , the Vibrant got an OTA update fixing GPS issues, now the Froyo update will bring a number of new features to the very popular Galaxy S, including a speed boost, full Flash support and device tethering, along with Google Maps GPS navigation plus voice guidance.

I'm pissed off, we are getting Froyo by end of November! 3.0 is suppose to come out next year already. This is crap

People are pissed because Motorola and HTC have long since updated phones released around the same timeframe as Samsung.

Sure, there's no guarantee of 2.1 ever, but when the competition is doing it and Samsung isn't (or is doing it VERY slowly), why wouldn't people be annoyed?

They already have 2.1. And everyone should stop complaining, not that many phones have even goten 2.2 yet. Not to mention the fricken phone is pretty damn great already. And if you think T-mobile sucks so bad, why did you buy another phone and sign another contract.

I don't even have the phone, but the late update is definitely something worth complaining about. They (owners of the phone) were promised an upgrade about 5 months ago, and a lot of people bought the phone knowing that it was supposed to get the upgrade, and with the expectation that they would get it before it becomes outdated. Obviously the phone is already good, but there's no wrong in wishing it was better, especially when the potential is there.

The phone has only been out 31/2 months, FYI.

Phone has been out longer than 3.5 months. I wouldn’t say these phones are great. Their performance is notoriously terrible. But good for Samsung, they whored it out to every carrier so now they can talk about how many they’ve sold worldwide as if it’s some accomplishment.

I will never buy another Samsung device again. Just brought a Television and consciously avoided getting a Samsung. That’s how much they disgust me now, with their terrible customer support/service.

where people practice so many religious commitments and faith commitments or none at all, From New York, should or shouldn’t it accepted, I don’t think that we have the opportunity to say who’s valid and who’s not. I had a number of people.I felt like my job was to always be in record, I think they were both all about the art and nothing else.
