He's some billionaire... built out AT&T Wireless, bailed out Nextel, and is now funding ICO Global Communications and Clearwire.

Trying to bring satellite to rural areas and use WiMax in urban areas... XM and Sirius style.

Is basically one of the grand daddies of wireless.

Haha I feel like I should have known who he was though...definitely seems like he is one of the biggest individual players in the wireless industry.
