Interestingly enough, Verizon Wireless can speedily introduce low-end handsets but trememdously lags behind when it comes to releasing the phones that the tech enthusiast actually want to purchase. Go figure...

Not necessarily an unreasonable scenario...

Low end phones sell well to those who don't want all those tech features...look at us here on this and "other" forums...we are not the normal customer for VZW (heck even the other carriers this can apply to)...the typical VZW customer doesn't care about modifying their phone, unlocking it, adding ringtones without paying, etc...they just want it to work...

That said...I absolutely agree with you...
