Default Verizon Upload Limit

I've heard that Verizon caps your upload speed or amount you can upload. Is this true? If so, what is it?

Just got off of the phone with Customer service and from what she just told me, the 5GB data cap applies to both downloads as well as uploads combined. Here's some text from the website:

"If usage exceeds 5 GB/line/month, we reserve the right to reduce throughput speeds to a maximum of approximately 200 Kbps."

Now you know Verizon Wireless is trying to get over being so overly protective of their network, I'll give them some time before they remove that limit.

I give them 6 months before they restrict it further. I know Verizon is trying to see like the good person turning around, but with the Any Apps, Any Device program, I can only see their grip being tightened in other places.

I thought of that possibility as well, but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt for now.
