BASKING RIDGE, NJ, and SHERMAN OAKS, CA — Verizon Wireless, the leading wireless company with the nation’s most reliable wireless voice and data network, announced today it has refreshed its V CAST Today daily video preview and summary of V CAST Video content. GoTV Networks will program and produce the V CAST Today daily segment offered to Verizon Wireless’ V CAST customers.

V CAST Today is a daily destination showcasing the best of what’s on V CAST, highlighting what is available on V CAST, including lifestyle and entertainment segments with ideas such as make-up tips, ‘green’ ideas for around the house and fitness advice – all of which is tied to programming on the V CAST menu. Whether it is music, comedy, entertainment or what’s best on the Net, V CAST Today gives Verizon Wireless customers an entertaining preview of what is available on V CAST.

Shown daily in V CAST Showcase, the segment will also include celebrity guest appearances, on-location segments from special events as well as great previews of the latest and greatest from Verizon Wireless’ catalog of programming. Melana Scantlin is the host of V CAST Today, guiding customers to where they can find the various types of V CAST content while providing exclusive access and insights. In addition, customers can also learn about the latest phones, services and features available from Verizon Wireless on V CAST Today.

Verizon Wireless customers get V CAST Today with any V CAST subscription. Customers with select V CAST-enabled phones can check out V CAST whenever they want for just $3.00 for 24-hour use or by signing up for the $15.00 V CAST VPak monthly subscription, which also includes access to Verizon Wireless’ ESPN MVP, Get It Now® and Mobile Web 2.0SM services. Customers get unlimited basic video – including video from V CAST Today – but application download fees apply for 3D games and premium video. There are no airtime or megabyte charges to download, stream or watch V CAST content with any V CAST subscription.
