I guess their advertising is definitely paying off. I wonder how long they will be #1 ya know? You can't always stay on top...maybe Google will triumph?

^ Possibly, but I'm betting on T-Mobile, once their 3G network is finally up and running properly.

IMHO, T-Mobile has a bad "rap" and people who aren't with them or never have been have almost always "heard bad things about coverage" or "they're cheap for a reason" so they may not ever be #1... and for the price, might not ever be #1 in revenue.

I'm glad to hear that Verizon is performing strong... they're definitely my pick over AT&T and Sprint!

I've got a friend with T-Mobile, and he just does not seem to have much in the way of coverage issues. I've noticed that he's got coverage pretty much everywhere I do, and T-Mo's plans are definitely not as expensive.

I'd really like to see T-Mo become the #1 or #2 provider overall; excellent customer service and competitive pricing would be a boon to all of us.

T-Mobile can go burn in hell lol! I'm guessing AT&T will snag the position sooner or later, it's just a matter of time. Why are T-Mobile plans so cheap anyway???

That's something that I've simply never been able to understand. I mean, with the Sidekick, it seems fairly clear that they're catering to a younger demographic. Even with that, I'm just not understanding how they're able to undercut the competition pricewise (I think only Sprint is lower than them, but they're not worth mentioning in the DC-metro area) to such a degree.

It gets tempting sometimes, let me tell you. Then there's the fact that they're GSM, which means you could get a SIM card from anywhere and be able to use your phone... it gets to be tempting.

Not tempting enough to change, of course. But a little tempting nonetheless.
