My E-mail

OK here is the deal. I bought a marvelous V195 from T-mobile web site. Darn I bought it too soon. Now they are throwing in a $25 refill with it. Ah well it is reasonable for $40. Seems obvious that the phone was built to be postpaid. Other than the fact that 6 voice dials fills its memory, it is nice.

The question is about My E-mail. A link is provided. Links are also provided for My Album and My Journal and they work just fine. My-Email however always yields, "We apologize, your login was unsuccessful. ... Try Again" It has address http://myemail.t-mobile.com/wap?c=1&...&brand=tmobile

Does anyone have working "My Email?" Yeah I know SMS/MMS is fine and not affected by this; just wondering what the heck it is. One of those features that us low life prepaid users don't get?

that is correct. no data transfer with prepaid.

i used to have a moto v195, the my email feature you need the wireless web option for, it wont work without

unless you go with the sidekick, for the buck/day prepay... im thinking about going this route even though id be carrying 2 fones around, because id be using my razr for talk and the sk3 for everything else.... im gold rewards 10c a min for my razr and the sk3 would be 15c a min whenever...off topic for a sec, gold rewards rox as long as u dont drop below 600 mins, then u loose ur 10c/min rate, but as long as ur 10c/min a 10 buck card should give u around 100 mins, but the system may not let that go for a long period of time... back on topic now lol :P... you can still send and recieve email msgs on ur fone but ud be charged a msging fee per msg, what is it like 10c to send and 5c to recieve... mms msgs r 15c to send and 15c to recieve now correct??? i remember the price is supposed to be changing in the month of july sometime...when it does change all msgs will be 15c to send and i forget how much to recieve... i deleted the txt msg tmobile sent me about that... anyways i know i talk alot sometimes, but your fones email addy would be ur fone number xxx-xxx-xxxx@tmomail.net but in your my.tmobile.com you can change the addy from ur fone number to anything you like...example: SAMPLE@tmomail.net then it would goto your fone as a txt msg...
