Main Cell Phone Carrier: T-Mobile
Main Phone: Blackberry 8700g
Default Enterprise Messenger (LCS)

I'm having issues with Enterprise Messenger running on Microsoft Communicator Server 2005. Here are my specs for my phone:

BB 8700G
OS: 4.5.52

Whenever I try and login to the messenger program it says "Service not enabled for this handheld". I tried it on a different 8700g running an older OS (most likely 4.2 or something) and it worked fine. I checked the application preferences and the program isn't even listed. I was going to see if it was being blocked from accessing the internet. I'm stumped. Am I just doomed to not use the software while I have OS 4.5 installed?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Wow. I feel stupid. Well, I'm going to post the solution really quick for anyone experiencing this issue as a Google search on that specific error gives very few results.

REACTIVATE YOUR PHONE.

haha. What are the odds right? I was attempting to update my application list manually by connecting it to the desktop manager and it said, hey, your PINs don't match up, you need to reactivate your phone. It said this because I was testing on another device and activated that phone on our BES server and forgot that, in doing that, I was technically disconnecting my BB from the server. Upon reactivation, I was able to login with no issues while running OS 4.5. I really hope this helps someone out.

Until next time where I will be posting an issue and solving it myself 5 minutes later. haha. Maybe I should start posting these things in an FAQ thread. lol.
