Unhappy My Dash can't find a signal...

Hello everyone! My Dash has developed an interesting problem. On Sunday I was talking to my Dad, and all of the sudden he couldn't hear me, but I could hear him. He hung up, and when the call ended, I had no signal. I figured it was the area I was in , but that is not the case. The phone has not picked up a signal since Sunday around noon. I've been using a T-Mo prepaid phone with my sim card in it until I can get this figured out. I went to the local T-Mo store, and the guy tried a couple of things (including giving me a new sim card) and there was no change. He suggested that I go to the T-Mo website and to a software reload, which I did with no change. He told me if that didn't help to call Customer Care and ask for the PDA department. I called today and the guy that I spoke to did something on his end and still no change. He told me that he was going to start a ticket and escalate it to next tier of support and he would call me tomorrow and let me know what is going on. I am half way through my two year contract, and the warranty on the phone has expired. What to you guys think about this problem. I've tried to search Google and Howard Forums, but didn't really come up with anything. Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance for all your help!

Jason

Well, the guy that I talked to on Tuesday never called me back yesterday, so I called them this morning to see what was going on. The person I spoke to today told me that the ticket that was started was to check for network issues in my area and that since my sim works in other phones the ticket was useless. He also told my that since my phone is past the one year warranty, all they could do is sell me a new phone. I told him that I didn't know which phone I would want so I couldn't make a decision right then and there.

I was thinking about the Blackberry Curve Sunset or the Blackberry Pearl in Red. I'm going to go the the T-Mobile store to take a look at them and see which one I like better.

Dang , that's a bummer. If you had a dash before I think you'll prolly like the Curve better than the pearl.

Yeah, I wasn't really ready to buy a new phone till next year, but what can you do? I did end up going with the BB Curve Sunset, and it seems pretty good so far. I'm trying to get used to the BB OS, but I'm pretty happy with it so far.
