Post Is this a problem?

I have the curve and I am paying for the BlackBerry Internet, but not H@H. When I turn the Wi-Fi on and connect to my wireless network, I could make and receive calls using UMA. I turned off the mobile network for t-mobile, and it stiil does this. Will I be charged? BTW I checked my plan online and i'm not paying for H@H.

Also my Curve gets a timer sign every minute or so when im using the phone, and its runs slow. Any way to fix this?

So you are connecting via WiFi on your UMA phone but not paying for the H@H/Talk Forever Mobile unlimited minutes deal?

No, you will not be charged. UMA is also there to improve reception, such as for people that have little to no reception in their areas, with or without the added unlimited minute thing.

The call should be taken from you bucket of minutes. It's just a regular call as far as billing is concerned.

I turned of the signal for t-mobile, just had wifi on. I wasn't using the tmobile network(turned it off in the connections). So how does it deduct from my minutes?

I don't know the exact specs, but it connects through the WiFi and at some point it connects to a UMA node SOMEWHERE and that connects to a cell tower. It works that way whether or not you have the add-on. It's designed so that they know your usage whether it's through WiFi or your local tower... sweet system if you ask me, really helps out those with little to no reception, or those who are consistently roaming and want their M2M minutes to count.
