Default Help! How can I save my texts?

So I currently have a Nokia 5300, I am trading it tomorrow for a Blackberry Pearl. I have quite a few important text messages on the 5300 that I would like to save. There does not seem to be an option to save the messages anywhere on the SD card or SIM card. I thought I would forward them to one of my emails, my phone won't let me forward to an email address only numbers! When i tried to make a contact with only an email it substitutes my phone # instead.
Whats a girl to do? I need to get these off the phone by tomorrow!
I have a Mac running OS x so any pc apps won't be of use either!

BIG thanks in advance...

Not a problem, I would be more than happy to assist you with this today

All you need to do is modify the way you send the message. To send it to email, the first line of your text message has to be the email you want to send it to. Put a space after that, and then a subject followed by the # symbol, finally another space and the text of the message. The number the message should be sent to is 500.

In a nutshell, just forward your messages to 500 with the first line being the email address

It seems kind of stupid that you can't access the text folder when you connect your phone to your computer. It would be SO much easier to just move the files from the phone to my mac...grr!
Thanks for the reply though!
