Default replacing lcd screen on dash

Excuse please if this has been asked before, but if it has, I can't seem to find it. My screen on my dash busted and I got a new one. I don't know how to install it though. Any tips?

I'll do my best to answer your question from what I know/can find.
You need to attach the LCD to the motherboard. Sounds easy right? Haha here are some more details
1. Unscrew and pop off housing
2. Unscrew 1 motherboard screw
3. Disconnect volume, keypad, and lcd ribbons
4. Remove motherboard and silver trim
5. Peel off volume ribbon and pull out lcd.

Double check that you have the cable seated properly in the connector, and if it is the problem is most likely that the lcd is defective.

Goodluck, let me know if you need anymore help.

Btw, I don't guarantee any of this information will work. Do all this at your own risk of course.

Oddly enough, putting LCD into a search no matter what words you follow it with turns up a whole lot of seemingly unrelated posts, but I knew I had posted on this before... and if you wade through the search list enough, it's there: Help replacing LCD on Dash - CellPhoneSignal - Cell Phone Forum

First you need to get an LCD

Then, watch the video on how to install it:

Let me know how it goes
