cdlamph is an unknown quantity at this point
Main Cell Phone Carrier: T-Mobile
Main Phone: T-Mo Dash
Default Water Logged Dash :)

I had recently submerged my phone when I fell into a pool I jumped out and immediately ripped apart my phone to let dry, obviously it doesn't work as before, muffled voice, some buttons don't work, etc, etc. My only question is if anyone knows, would it be cheaper to buy a new phone or send it out for repairs. I have never sent any other phone out to get fixed, heck I don't even know if they will fix a water logged phone. I have no insurance on it so I honestly don't know what way would be cheaper, thanx for any replies, chuck

If you have a place near your house that can repair phones, I would just stop in there sometime and ask for an estimate of how much it would be for them to fix it. I'm guessing it would be cheaper to have them fix it, but honestly I've never had a phone fixed before (not by anyone but T-mobile or SE...which has been free) so I'm not quite sure. The whole phone in toilet or phone in a pool thing happens quite often though, I'm sure someone that has been in the same situation will stumble on this thread soon and let ya know what they did.

Sorry to hear about your phone!

if the phone is still moist, try putting it in a jar filled with dry rice. It'll suck out any traces of moisture from the phone.
