Question Shadow Battery Life

Hey ya'll,

My first full day with the shadow and I completely loved it except for a slight battery problem. I let it go through a full charge the first night and unplugged at about 9:00 am.

By 5:00 pm, I was at 50%????
-No BT
-No WiFi
-Minimal Txt/ Voice

On my wing and dash both, I could send/receive close to 150 SMS, Check e-mail via Wifi several times a day, and talk my arse off and still not be at 50% percent iby evening.

I am really hoping that the battery "warms-up" or something like that.lol. Anyone else having batt. probs?

I already call TMO CS about it and they told me to wait another day and if it was still acting like that, go exchange at the store.

First day the Shadow was dead by 10:00 P.M. but that was with lots of usage setting it up. The battery ran down to one bar by late last night despite being off for 4 hours while flying yesterday. I have push email enable for both my Exchange and Hotmail accounts as well as BT. So far the battery life seems pretty weak. Even my Dash did better on battery life.

It will take a few charge and discharge cycles to see the batteries full potential.

Well, I hope its not that bad, but in regards to what Leen said, I am currently in the process of exhanging my wing for the shadow! The wings battery life was aweful! I usually do 20 emails a day, light web browsing to go into gmail, 200 mins talk time a day and no pictures or anything else and i would put the phone to sleep when not in use and that phone would be at 20% by the time i would head to class from work @ 5pm! apparently you either had one great WING or you have one crappy battery for the shadow!!!! hA!!!

In regards to the DASH i agree the dash battery is awesome! The dash itself is just awesome! I didnt like that phone at first when it came out but i used it and loved it!

My shadow comes on Monday!

Oh thanks! Yeah I really am excited should be here late Monday , cause UPS delivers around 5ish more lke 6ish! but it sucks cause they have no consistency with times! Where I used to live be4 it was always between 5 and 530 and fedex was always between 230 and 3 ! every time no matter what unless it was an over night for morning delivery!!!

Well, it appears as if you are right, My battery finally started holding a pretty decent charge, but I am taking back my shadow today to exchange for another one, so I will go through this once again.

Reference reason for return/exchange:
