| I'm getting multiple advertising phone messages, that I'm not interested in, all from a single phone number. Is it possible to lock-out that specific phone number, so they can't call me any more? |

| I do not think that this is able to be done. Anyone else care to chip in?

| As far as I know it isn't possible for any of T-Mobiles handsets to block a number. Your best bet would either be to change your mobile number, or set a ring tone for that number, and don't answer any of the calls. You could also try adding your number to the National Do Not Call Registry and see if that helps. https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx |

Not answering or using a special ring-tone doesn't work, because they leave voice-mail and then I am wasting time deleting messages and having to go through them anyway. The national do-not-call-registry has some potential and is at least worth trying. Thanks |

| I was 99% sure that T-Mobile did not offer any kind of number block. I registered my cell number on the DNC Registry back when I got it years ago. I have never gotten a telemarketer call.

| I agree registering the number is a good idea, but it is also illegal for telemarketers to use automated dialers and reach a cell phone. You might want to do a couple of things 1. answer a call, and tell them to take your number off their calling list, and that it is a cell phone. I think I read somewhere that every call you receive from the could cost $500. 2. start keeping a log of the calls 3. google the number, and report the company to your state's attorney general and the FTC. |
