Default Extra Lines! Info

The customer rep told me that EVERY 6 Months as longs you have made GOOD PAYMENTS EVERY MONTH on the account. that every 6 months T-mobile adds a Additional line to the account. I qualify for 2nd line now and 3rd line in December.

She was telling about FLEX PAY for 3rd & 4th line to get them as FLEX PAY where you pay in advance and use your regular minute blah blah with no contract. but there is a 4.99 fee if you don't have easy pay waives the fee.

This is true, but from what I understand it's not an ongoing window. For example 24 months of good service won't mean you can now add four lines today. Instead every six months you can add a new line beyond your credit.

The crazy thing is that in some stores when you say add a line, they think you mean to a family plan. I told them no. I mean having a seperate line and seperate rate plan, but on the same account.

T-mobile's policy is. if you are a credit class L which is 2 lines no deposit, and you pay good for up to six month's. and you now request more line you are not a credit class B with the abilty to add up to 3 more lines at no deposit.

but if you are a credit class C which is 3 lines no deposit, and you are requesting more line you can add a line once every six months. the same goes for Smartaccess.

Yes, but it is not done automatically. 6 months after the last line was activated, you can request us to evaluate you for another line at $0 deposit. As long as there haven't been any serious problems, we can approve you for an additional line. If you were to wait 12 months after the last activation, you will still be only able to add 1 line at $0 deposit. These rules apply to the non-prime credit classes (deposit and smartaccess/flexplay classes). The prime credit classes have different rules.

The credit does NOT change from L to B. The customer remains as credit class L, it's just that the line limit goes from 2 to 5. The same goes for C, it goes to 5 after 6 months. And you are COMPLETELY wrong on SmartAccess. Those accounts can have 1 line maximum for individual plans and 2 lines maximum on a familytime plan. Smartaccess accounts can NEVER have more than 2 lines. You might be confusing it with the Smartaccess conversion accounts (W class). By the way, payment history has no bearing on additional lines being approved with the prime credit classes (the ones that are not deposit or smartaccess/flexpay required). Those ones are based on 6 months of service for the first bump in the line limit and then 6 months since last activation once you hit the new line limit. That being said, don't expect not paying your bill will still allow you add lines. There is another department that reviews payment history and gets monthly updates from the credit bureaus. Changes in both can change your credit class (up or down). Don't make your payments on time too many times and your credit class will change to Risk and you're no longer prime and we have to review your payment history during approval.

You don't think that's not going to get caught? You're going to activate 100 lines on individual plans? I'd hate to be the one paying THAT bill. That's at least $3000 per month. Risk Assessment would eventually see it and cancel all those extra lines and oops. Some dealer is out their commission.
