Default Best free phone for existing family plan

Hello Board,

I posted this in HoFo, but I'd like to see if there are other opinions here.
I'm going to add a 4th line to our existing family plan. We have plenty of handsets, but I never say no to a free one offered with a new contract.

Of T-Mo's current free line-up, which do you think is the best all-round performer?

Thanks!

I would recommend the Motorola v195s. It will cost $20 instead of being free. It has bluetooth, great reception, and great battery life.

I believe it has OBEX, but it's difficult to use your own mp3 rintones. It is flashable to a 6131, which removes all of the T-Mobile crippling, including the restrictions on Java web access.

Jadder, welcome to the forum!

Thanks. And thanks for the replies. I use an unlocked unbranded SE w810i. I hate crippled anything. But since I was just getting a free phone because I was adding a line to our family plan, I decided on the Samsung T619 because it's quadband. We travel to Asia so I'll be getting it unlocked so I can use it or sell it there. Being able to customize this free phone isn't #1 priority. Just want something that works as a phone, SMS and snapshots.

I've heard good things about the t619's reception. I had the t629, and it had very good reception.
