Any one else having problems in the Chicago Area?

We live in the NW suburbs and we are having nothing but problems with our T-mobile service in our home. They worked for 3 years in the house before this. Phones work ok when we are away from home, like at work. 80% of the time you get call failed when you try to dial out. People try to call and phone never rings and they go right to voice mail. We get message notification days later (or never). I cannot tell you how many times I have called T-mobile. First they insisted it was our phones, and tried to diagnose the phones, then they insisted it was because phones weren't turned off every night. Ok, so we did all that, turn phones off nightly, etc. Problem persisted. Then we called T-mobile again, and they wanted to send us new phones. They wouldn't listen to me when I tried to tell them the phones worked EXCELLENT away from home.

FInally after about 8 or more calls, I talked to a tech who listened when I insisted it had to be the tower. "Well there are no reports of a tower problem" I kept getting from level 1 support. I got elevated to level 3 tech support. All the neighbors who live by have same problems with the phone. Then I got the 3G is coming to your area in 120 days that should fix it. 120 DAYS?!?!?! I am paying 100.00 a month for a family plan with phones that only work when we aren't home. So level 3 had to talk to supervisor. Here I wait 1 1/2 weeks after spending 2 HOURS on the phone with levels 1-3 and no resolution.

We have had T-mobile for 6 years and never had a problem and now, we are so upset and disgusted, we are done. We want out of this contract, and I just don't know what to do. They could fix the tower tonight, and I can guarantee that we will not be renewing contracts with T-mobile after this. Anyone else having any issues in Chicago Area? This is insane. What can I do to get out of this contract? We have already had a child who needed to be picked up from school who couldn't call us, and a death in the family that no one could get ahold of us to tell us about. We need phones that work!!!!
