Question What DVD software do you use to play DVDs?
I put in a legal DVD in my laptop, and WMP11 (URGE), says that I am missing the required codecs. How do I fix this? Thanks.

Something called Interactual Player. Came with my laptop. It works fine for my needs.

Entering MPlayer homepage
this is all i use. its a linux player, with window and mac ports. it also has the ability to copy, via cli. using mencoder. im using the windows port on my other hd and it rox i was impressed for a port. powerdvd is also nice, but its bloated to a point as it gets newer. mplayer u dont need to install just extract the archive and run. i put it in my win dir that way i can run it via command prompt, but theres also a gui for it called gmplayer that comes with it, which is also nice, and very skinable.heres the d/l link.... I personally use Apple's DVD player but there are a bunch you can use. I enjoy Divx as well.

Media Player Classic will play most formats, and allows for the DVD menus as well. Its free, part of the k-Lite codec pack.
