Does anyone know what the deal with international calling is on hotspot or @ home calling?

I just have a regular myfaves 1000 plan and my 14 yr old daughter comes in a couple of saturdays ago and says "mom! I just got off the phone from talking to Iris for over an hour!!!" We adore Iris and miss her a lot. I would normally be thrilled that she got to talk to her. The problem is, Iris lives in Iceland. My first reaction was "please tell me she called you"...no. "Please, please tell me you didn't call from my cellphone" ...she got this look on her face and walked out.

Now, I have a $60 bill...not phone bill...a $60 phone call!

Do any of the unlimiteds cover international?

Nope. You are better off buying an international dialing card and putting the international dialing bar on all of your lines. I am able to call UK for $0.08c per min, $10 gets me about 600 mins. Search the net for one that best suits your needs, I use a Champion calling card for UK, local access number with reliable service (International Calling Cards & Online Phone Cards. Long Distance Calls, Prepaid VoIP are great)
