Awesome. Just one question though if you might be able to answer it... M2M is not a "contract" type deal, so what's to stop people from signing up during April, getting their first month free, then just ditching it? Is there some other fine print somewhere, or is that just an "exploit" they are risking?

I wonder if T-Mobile will do that H@H promo like they did last year with the first 100 customers to come to the story with a robe would get a free phone and service for 1 year. I have one of the promos that was given off last year.

Usually T-Mo updates their website in the early afternoon and it is not there. The person I talked to at telesales said there is no such promo. I also called some store reps and they hadn't heard about this.

Since it is a feature add-on, what you are saying can be done. It does not have any kind of requirement to keep the feature, but I'm banking on T-Mobile assuming some people will have it and just forget to take it off. So it's like 6 eggs in one hand, and half a dozen in the other. Keep in mind, the customer has to add M2M to begin with to get the first month free, in case the wording originally was difficult to understand. =)

On the official communication I received, they did not say anything about promoting this on the website, however it is available through both of those channels. I wouldn't expect store reps to know about it simply because they cannot offer it. Trust me, it's for real, and if you check my track record I'm almost always accurate. I get this information in advance and post whenever possible, and due to recent promotions I've received, I can only post on here whenever I really have a chance to, since I'm very busy. Considering there were no "action steps" with this particular promotion, I'm sure the 1st month being free will be automatically done through billing department and/or systems prior to the customer receiving their first bill.

Hope this helps!

As for this, I haven't heard anything similar. I do know the new H@H campaign will be drastically different since "Jimmy" didn't really do so well in explaining or selling the product. The promotional pricing is still in effect ($9.99 for fam or indiv. plans), which is HUGE, and T-Mobile plans to push TalkForever in a big way, so I don't want to say you can expect a similar type of promo as the "Robe" promo, but T-mobile will certainly do something to push it hard to customers. So we can expect something!

So, it's not on the website, store reps don't know about it and telesales reps don't know about it. The first month is going to be automatically made free for existing customers and new subscribers and they won't know about it unless they notice that they are not being charged for the first month?

Would an existing customer be able to see this if they try to add unlimited M2M via their handsets?

As of yet, I guess they don't. But this is an official communication from T-Mobile.

What I got says Customers who purchase the M2M add-on, so I'm assuming existing customers also qualify for this. I can't say for sure about adding the feature on the handset simply because it only says 1-800-TMOBILE and Unsupported Browser, but I would assume so. As far as the procedure, I'm not sure how they will do it. The info I received is Word for word on what I posted initially, so aside from that, I don't know the exact way it will work.

Understand that I get certain information whether it pertains to me or not, this doesn't apply to my particular channel, therefore, to me and what I need to do, it's not something I'm going to dive in and research just because I cannot use this information for our sales channel. I hope I'm not coming off the wrong way, but if I do get more information, I will definitely post it, when I can. =)

One rep told me that this promo was supposed to start yesterday but it has been put on hold. The rest I talked to don't know about it, neither telesales nor store reps.

Some sales reps are willing to use their discretion to give new and existing customers a credit for the equivalent of the first month's charge for that add-on. But that's about it for now.
