If we ignore all the nonsensical parts of this Inquirer article, then we see that T-Mobile USA might be about to make an announcement regarding their US 3G offering. According to a rep, the company will be making an announcement on December 6th on the subject, which sounds to us like the Government might have finally shifted off of T-Mobile's turf. That's all the relevant details we have, so set your calendars if 3G networks news announcements are your kinda thang.

Yeah I have seen this story around the internet a lot. I'm hoping that it is true and T-mobile makes some kind of announcement by December 6th. Those of us that know what 3G is are getting restless....

i talked with a guy at some store and he said that recently all the phones ( in vegas) suffered a lost signal some day becuase they were changing and upgrading the network. and that make sense, i woke up at 5:30am, usually, and i checked my phone and it showed now signal, i reboot the phone and i worked normally., but the strange is also, my friend's phone was the same, without signal..

is that a sign that 3g is coming?

the new CES 2008 will be in vegas, and t-mo will be here to showing the new devices, they must have 3g here in vegas to show the potential to the rest of the country.

I'm soooo jealous that you are possibly going to get 3G before I do! Oh well...glad it's coming out finally!

I was on the phone with tech support yesterday, and I mentioned the Wing. I complained about the crappy camera and memory that the Wing has. The rep stated that he can't wait until the Wing 2 comes. I didn't ask him to elaborate since they are recorded.

speculation on the reps part. there is no wing 2 as of yet. i wouldnt be surprised if the next smartphone carries the shadow monkier as its supposed to be the "upscale sidekick" line. I wouldnt imagine seeing a new wing or dash replacement until q2 of 08 at the earliest. the next smartphone is going to be the pearl2 with uma if i had to guess. I have to talk to my HTC rep in the next couple of days, I am going to see what kind of information i can get out of him.

I mentioned this in another thread, but doesn't the Shadow Touch (hypothetical name of wing successor) have a nice ring to it?
