Hey I have two things I really am curious about.
1- what is this overclocking I hear about with people and there phones! Are they refering to the same thing as what people do to their PC's! 2- Also what software or settings in there to make smart phones more efficient and run smoother! I read somewhere where someone was mentioning this! Thanks!

You will always be taking a risk when doing this to any CPU, due to no cpu being exactly the same. I have mentioned this several times before, the CPU's may be the same model and sliced off the same "log", but they may not handle the same load. So, this is why there is always a disclaimer on every hacking and overclocking APP. It just depends what you are overclocking, TI OMAP 850? dash, wing, 8125 It's basically a trade off between battery life and a smidgen in resposiveness. IMO A whole book could be written on this subject. Tornado Power Control(google)-Smartphones Battery Staus(google)-PPC |
