The Shadow was rumored to be T-Mobile's "adult" version of the Sidekick, and I can see that it is. This is the "impressive" device T-Mobile reps are talking about - expect to see T-Mobile push this phone a lot. And why shouldn't they? This is their Pearl 2 - hell, this is their iPhone.

I think it does have a VGA screen. The Boy Genius isn't too sure, but people have described the device all along as having a "wow" screen, and I don't see what's particularily impressive about a QVGA screen these days. The screen looks like it could be a little bigger, but I'm not complaining.

Other thoughts:

The name, as I've said before, seems like it's trying too hard - it just ends up being forgettable. But the packaging is slick. That better be the retail box, T-Mo.

3MP camera? Niiice. No flash? Bah. (Why can't someone make a 3MP cameraphone with a freakin' flash?)

On that note, if this has a 3MP camera, I see no reason why the SK LX couldn't have a 2MP shooter.

The colors sound adult and luxurious - obviously what T-Mobile was going for. I can't wait.

D900, U600, and N95 all have 3+MP cams with Flash. K780 even has a true xenon flash.

Either way. You're right. More manufacturers should start slapping better cams in their phones.

VGA screen looks more than 4x better than QVGA
fonts looks more realistic, video looks way better, even with slingplayer, the graphic looks....cool!!!
that's why I will spend $450 to get HP 221, even I have HX2495 (HP 221 has dual card and VGA)
