you need to understand the meaning behind
I never change my principal of choosing carrier: do not pick carrier based on phone
but this time T-Mobile disappointed us this time, currently there's NO hybrid hex-band unlocked phone, that I am limited to samsuck (yes, it always suck), and I think samsung products is unreliable
I just don't understand why T-Mobile is always hestiant when pushing out new technology
@Home
MyFaves
and T-Mobile Broadband Total Internet
phone choice: does samsuck has good amount of DT share? we see samsuck products here and there, where's sonyericsson phones???????
I liked T-Mobile because they treat well towards military personnels, and rather liberal on data usage
if I have no choice to jump, I'll lose money, and keep losing money!!!!!
it's better that CEOs of T-Mobile USA, T-Mobile International, and Destuche Telekom to read this below:
please stop giving FUD to customers; and let everybody knows T-Mobile is not a low class carrier
if I can get everything that makes me satisfied, I wouldn't switch
if I can find hybrid hex-band unlocked phones, I simply forget that samsuck!
No carrier is gonna satisfy everybody's needs. thats where other carriers come in. Go ahead to AT&T. They have samsung phones too. Also, i wanna see you use all those gigs of data freely on AT&T as you brag so much about with t-mobile. GO ahead if thats how you feel, but honestly, as many liberties as you get with t-mobile, i doubt you'd get the same with AT&T.

no matter what you said
but don't you realize samsuck has more phone models than other brand?
if I go to at&t, I may pick unlocked Z750i or K850i (good money) plus moto V3xx (it has good modem)
but I'd give one more month, that the deadline will be 10 October, if there's NO AWS 3G phone available, I have to make a final decision to stay or to go
btw, don't you think it's a shame on T-Mobile that can kick a loyal customer out?

I would say that it's a shame a loyal customer wants to leave based on a phone, not that they are kicking you out. I'm in with T-Mobile because of their good service, their awesome rates, and the fact that I know 3G is coming and its going to be better priced at T-Mo, not to mention my grandfathered plan, so I'm in for the long haul! But, to each his own, right?

My opinions/views/comments are just that, MINE, no one else's, not T-Mobile's, or any other carrier, any of their dealers, or any manufacturers.

Greenblood I have to pipe in with the crowd and say your thinking and your argument is clearly riddled with nonsense. The whole mindset that you usually possess is one made of whimsical decisions with no evidence of any business acumen. I cannot understand your desire to leave the service you portray so much love for for a service you have known now for some time is not slated for a while. The release of the t639 doesn't equate to the release of the umts/hsdpa service any time soon. While you want to believe they go hand in hand thats not the case. I remember working at Cingular and the 3g aircards were released months prior to hsdpa launch? Should I be so bold as to hold a grudge against them for releasing the devices so much earlier than the service itself. I could hardly justify such disdain for Cingular for that movie.

Think smarter my friend and think a little harder about the decisions you are willing to make and the consequences that may follow with them.

I personally can see both views. It IS a shame that T-Mobile isn't better at releasing their 3G handsets earlier, faster, and having more of a variety of 3G handsets available when it goes live on T-Mo's network (T-Mo's 3G uses a different frequency than all other 3G carriers, thus no "unbranded" or "unlocked" handset will be compatible with T-Mo's 3G... at least right now or the near future).

However, before taking the huge leap over to another carrier from T-Mobile (which you were satisfied with most of the time), perhaps it might be beneficial to take some time out to think of this. What are some of the PROS T-Mobile has in your eyes? Customer Service? Price? Lax Internet usage? And what are some of the CONS? No 3G until the end of this year? Samsung T-639 doesn't come out until October?

IMO, if these are the ONLY cons you can think of... you may want to opt for a "less drastic" solution before you sign a contract with another carrier! Maybe get a data card (like Matt did) from another carrier and wait for 3G on T-Mobile? Or maybe you don't NEED 3G right now because your current EDGE speeds are "enough" to hold you over until 3G DOES launch on T-Mobile? Both of these choices may solve your "Samsuck" problem as well, since the longer you wait, the more 3G phones will be released by T-Mobile (especially after launch) and I'm willing to bet that NOT ALL of them will be Samsung. Also, MAYBE some phone manufacturers will start making unbranded, unlocked 3G handsets that WILL work on T-Mobile's (and other 3G carriers') frequency.

I'm NOT trying to persuade you to stay or go Greenblood... but I'm just saying you may want to "sit down and take a deep breath", and think about what the future consequences are of your actions... BEFORE you actually do it. I did it with my temptation with SERO, and ended up staying with T-Mobile (for now). If I went SERO back when I was tempted to switch, I know I would be regretting it right now... (but that doesn't mean it won't happen in the future)!

EDIT: By the way, if you HATE Samsung so much... WHY IN THE WORLD DO YOU WANT TO GET THE SAMSUNG t639 SO BAD?!?!? It's NOT like it's the ONLY T-Mobile 3G phone that will be produced or anything... there will be others from OTHER MANUFACTURERS following it!

I don't care that much about SERO, even though it looks pretty attractive, but unreliability is a major turnoff, I don't want to get a letter from collection agent even I paid in full
I am not stupid, but T-Mobile should listen what customer want
if they have listened, T-Mobile even shouldn't have increased the price of Total Internet, that push their data ARPU got stuck
this mistake MUST NOT happen again on the new Broadband Total Internet, to gain more money, the best way to sell more, not selling in higher price
if any manufacturer can take a chance to make "limited edition" 3G unlocked phone with AWS, they can get money from us
who goes first, who wins
also, Robert Dotson don't act dumb while other carriers laugh at us, DT Germany is watching

First lets try some coherence in our sentences. Second lets try some coherence in our business senses. This whole concept of you dancing around the Samsung issue is quite frankly ridiculous. Why now after all this time have you come to a head on umts services? You really seem to have some crazy notion in your head that the launch of the service and the launch of the phone has to be hand in hand.
