When I got my replacement 8100 Pearl White, I got the latest OS installed on the phone which is 4.2.1.103.

As I play around with the Internet browser on the phone, I noticed the Java and JavaScript does not work quite as good as it used to. I am guessing that they tweak it to solve the memory leak problem on the phone. So far, I have lots of free memory now. Much more than I ever had.

I saw two options when you click on the button on the left of the track ball. That is "Page View" and "Desktop View".

I don't know if this been there before or not but it seems that it only works if you have a trackball. So this only works if you have the 8100 Pearl, 8300 Curve, and 8800.

When you click on "Page View", it shows the entire page in condensed form. It shows how it looks in full page.

When you click on "Desktop View", it shows the entire page in full view and you use the trackball to move the page left, right, top, and bottom.

That is cool!

they released an update for my 8700 as well it stinks, and I wish I could have never done it. My blackberry runs so slow now.

.103 was buggy and removed from the TMO website after only a day or so. You need to DL and install .107 ASAP

Make sure you are using DM 4.2 sp1 or sp2 (available from the RIM website)

That's what I have heard but so far, I have no problems with it so I am going to keep it as it is. Besides, I am going to get the Blackberry 8300 Curve when it comes out so I wait until than.

I've seen that that update was revoked from tmo.com. If you don't mind losing the 4.2.1.x feature updates, go back to Unsupported Browser and it'll let you go back to the .346 version i think.
