Denis Leary's 'Rescue Me' Rape Scene Scares T-Mobile
Denis Leary is not happy about T-Mobile's decision to pull its ads from an episode of 'Rescue Me' that contains a rape scene. Leary states that T-Mobile's decision was 'hypocritical', stating: "That annoyed me because it distracted from what a great acting job Andrea Roth, who plays Janet, my wife, did in that scene," reports MSNBC. Andrea Roth comments in the upcoming issue of Complex, saying, "Also at the time, two of T-Mobile's spokespeople were Snoop Dogg and Paris Hilton, who's been video taped under the same circumstances." Obviously, not exactly the same...but we'd have to agree that Snoop Dogg and Paris Hilton's antics are certainly considered risqué, to say the least. One thing that comes to my mind immediately, is why would T-Mobile sign-on with a show like 'Rescue Me' to begin with? After all, the show is known to push the controversial button every week!
