Here I sit seven or eight months after the above quoted and I still come up empty handed when I check "3G" and "HotSpot" on the search tool when looking for a device to use with T-Mobile. My life would be simple if there was a single device that encompassed 3G, UMA, had a 320 x 240 2.8 inch screen and a 3.2 megapixel camera. I could reduce my list of phones!

So, now I have to ask myself "Why is this device not available?" Is it a question of SAR values being too high with all of that RF wonderfulness crammed into such a small space? Is it battery life? I'm pretty sure it isn't weight. The G1 is almost 6 ounces. Or is it marketing?

I can understand if it is a technical issue why we don't have it. But if T-Mobile is holding out on us because they think a small number of mobile device geeks are going bankrupt the system with their wireless routers and 3G use they ought to test the waters. But not in Oklahoma City because we don't have 3G yet.

It looks like Nokia is working on a 3G - UMA device for T-Mobile. In the upcoming phones section it is shown as a 70% confidence and arriving in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of this year.

Their are so many Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones which provides 3G speed, but 3G is too old now its time to switch in 4G speed, Which AT&T has launched 4G in many state.
