Wireless Giant to open additional Blackberry stores
Quote:
Wireless Giant and InMotion
Entertainment have joined together to develop and operate additional
BlackBerry(R) from Wireless Giant(R) retail stores in select transportation
centers, including major airports and rail stations across the United States.
The stores will exclusively sell BlackBerry(R) products and services.
InMotion Entertainment's primary responsibilities will include site selection,
lease negotiations, and location development. Wireless Giant will provide
specialized training, BlackBerry smartphones and accessories, as well as
concept development, marketing and operational guidance.
BlackBerry from Wireless Giant are innovative retail stores featuring the most
comprehensive offering of BlackBerry products and services and providing an
exceptional purchasing experience for both consumers and corporate customers.
The stores offer BlackBerry smartphones from multiple wireless service
providers including Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint, Metro PCS, and T-Mobile,
which can be purchased and activated for use with BlackBerry(R) Internet
Service and BlackBerry(R) Enterprise Server. The stores also offer support
services for both end users and IT administrators of organizations of all
sizes. Customers will also find a wide range of advanced technology and
personal accessories for their BlackBerry smartphones.
"Wireless Giant has been successful in rolling this concept out both on the
street and in an airport environment. We believe this will accelerate the
growth of this concept," said Isaac Hanna, C.E.O./President of Wireless Giant.
"We are confident that the synergies between our companies will take this
exciting and innovative concept to the next level," said Hanna. He went on
further to say, "InMotion Entertainment brings a wealth of experience in
acquiring and operating retail stores in transportation centers across the
United States and with our expertise in retail cellular sales and in
particular BlackBerry smartphones and accessories, I think it will be a
winning combination."
Jeremy Smith, President of InMotion Entertainment stated that, "Our corporate
cultures are very much inline. Both of our companies are focused on
identifying the best locations, providing the most innovative products and
making sure that our management and sales staffs have access to unparalleled
training in order to provide excellent customer service."
Kevin Kern, InMotion's Director of Real Estate and Development, will be
responsible for securing sites for the initiative. The companies have already
identified at least eleven sites and have an additional five to seven sites
under consideration.
