 Computer help??
Hi, I know this off-topic, so hopefully I'm in the right place.
Against my explicit warning not to, my 14 yr old dl limewire. She's used it a number of times, I believe, and now I have been having a number of problems with my computer. I was able to rid it of almost everything. It took two different anti-virus' AVG and trend micro, but the initial problem seems to be gone. There are two persistent problems that I can't seem to get rid of ..technically 3. I've had people on yahoo offer to "fix" these for me. The thing is I would have to allow remote access to my system. Not feeling like that is a great idea. Additionally, on the computer help forums, there is no way to know who is legitimately trying to help and who is out to do more harm.
I got to thinking you all seem pretty tech savvy, perhaps someone here could help me out or direct me to a safe place to get help. If so, please message me and I will give you the details, thanks so much *smile* |
