Default Your plans for the Fourth of July holiday?

What are you doing on the 4th? Do you have a family tradition? Break out the BBQ?

Being rather careful with the fireworks that are allowed here in Kansas.. It's like if it explodes, it's legal here (to an extent) compared to back home in California.. I mean, Roman Candles are okay to sell here?!? Of course, I get concerned when I see jumbo packs that come with their own goggles.. *cringe*

The 4th is my sisters birthday, so after I get off of work we'll probably have a BBQ/family get together for her.

Yes, we have a burn ban in effect. They are only allowing certain kinds of fireworks to be set off. Nothing that can get airborn is allowed.

Well, turns out they weren't allowing ANY fireworks within the city limits. So we didn't get a chance to use HALF of the fireworks we got. Had a great time chillen and grillen though!
