Default 2008 Election Predictions

Alright everybody, it's getting down to the wire. It's technically not even summer yet, but the November elections will be here before we know it. Just a preface, I don't want this thread descending into a flame war. If you have something to say about a candidate, make it civil and informed. No ad hominem attacks, please. Let's keep it a clean fight

Here's a link to the rules for Political/Touchy Discussions. They apply in this thread.

Otherwise - post your predictions! Who do you think will win the Democratic nomination? Who do you think will win the election? Who will run on the Green ticket? Who will run as independents (any Paulites in the forum?) Take it away...

Default Re: 2008 Election Predictions

My prediction is that Barack Obama will win the Dem nod to go up against John McCain. Ralph Nader is running as an independent, but I don't think he'll get the support he's gotten in the past.
Cynthia McKinney is running on the Green Party ticket, but I don't think she'll get that much support, either.

I don't think Ron Paul will run, I think he'll focus on keeping his seat in Congress.

When it all goes down, I think John McCain will walk away with the win. I just don't think Obama will have the support of enough people, especially seeing how divided Dems are between him and Hillary.

Default Re: 2008 Election Predictions

I should run as I am old enough now.

but alas, I was not born in the US.

Don't have any predictions as this election has been a mess on the Dem side.
