Default What's the worst wireless customer service experience you've had?

Sometimes it seems like I am doomed to horrible service. When I do get great service I make sure to take the time to give an employee a compliment by speaking with their manager. What has been your worst customer service experience with a wireless company?

Thumbs down Re: What's the worst wireless customer service experience you've had?

Any time I've had to report a dead zone with metroPOS cos nothing was ever done..

As for service in general, AT&T wireless when they rolled out their pre-paid service had to be the most problematic..
I was in Sacramento, had a Sacramento number, was trying to call another Sacramento number which was not a long distance or toll call, yet the recorder message said I needed to dial a 1 in order to place the call.
Also, I called my mobile number from a payphone just to test out the number, and I got an AT&T Direct operator instead.

Meh.

I honestly don't think that I can say that I've ever really had horrendous customer service from my wireless providers. Unless you want to count when most of the time I'd call in for help at Sprint and get somebody from the Philippines that I could not understand.

I guess I've been pretty lucky overall.

I haven't had any real bad problems with wireless provider customer service. Just verizon dsl mostly.

I know it's not wireless, but recently this week, I've had the most horrendous CS with Citibank; it's like their online services and over-the-phone services speak Tagalog and Czech with each other.. cos neither knows what the other is talking about.. =P

I sure wish I could have more of my customers do that at Xbox Support I deal with angry, yelling customers all day that blame Microsoft for their own problems [such as their kid taking their credit card and charging money to their Xbox Live account, geez] so I really appreciate it when someone takes time out of their day to compliment me. I have to be all nice and cheery no matter what mood the customer is in *groan*

AT&T [then Cingular] gave me the worst customer service experience. Sprint was bad, too, but compared to Cingular... not even close.
