FINALLY, right? I mean, someone has actually come out with a sporty, non-odd looking hybrid... that's what you're thinking, right? I just don't like the shape of the hybrid's to-date, excluding the 4-door Civic hybrid which actually is NORMAL, but it just doesn't cut it for sporty, and there is no 2-door model. So when Honda shows off a prototype (alas) of a 2-door sporty hybrid, I JUMP at the chance to go have a look.
It's a bit futuristic. It looks incredibly sporty, too... FROM THE FRONT. The tail end suffers from what I like to call "hybrid fever" or in layman's terms "WTF WERE THEY THINKING?!?!" I mean, they had it all right, it may be a bit distracting on the inside if you check the instrument cluster [ignore the fact that the prototype driver's seat is on the right], but it's workable and a bit of outside-the-mold thinking (kind of like the models of Civics that started in 2006) but when they got to the tail end of this thing they were all, "Meh, I'm tired... let's slap on the tail of a Prius and go home"
It's not the ugliest thing in the world but wouldn't it look a little more normal if it SLANTED BACK DOWN IN SOME WAY? Hmm, is there even a rearview mirror on that thing, or is an electronic view? Well, that could be kind of nifty, but imagine driving down the road and your electronics mess up - yeah, not cool.
Have a look at what I am talking about
