Has anybody seen the coming attraction for this movie yet? The premise is awfully close to "The Ring" as far as I can see...you get a voicemail which is recorded by your future self that is of you dying...and as with any voicemail, includes the time and date of the message (which is supposed to coincide with your death)...
I'm just looking forward to using back doors to leave people messages without their phone ringing...combine it with a caller id spoofer...you'll have some poor soul wetting their bed by midnight...
I'm looking forward to this as well as "Cloverfield"

"One Missed Call" was a decent movie, but I was left expecting more. As for Cloverfield, being that it was filmed using the same method as "The Blair Witch Project," I'm anxious to see it. You're in for a weak ending if you go see "One Missed Call"...

You actually can leave people messages without their phone ringing... dial your voicemail system, select the option for "Send a Message" and dial a number to connect directly to someone's voicemail box. Without a caller ID spoof, the only thing you get is a call back later saying, "I think I lost signal or something earlier cuz somehow I missed your call" So much for that Edit: Well now that I think about it, that might only be T-Mobile, but you can always try with Verizon
Yeah, One Missed Call looks like someone tried to "re-modernize" a not-so-old movie with a more common voicemail death message [as opposed to VHS]. I haven't seen One Missed Call yet, but I think I'll still choose Scary Movie 4 over it Nothing beats a cheesy movie spin-off/parody

Eh...I think the first and second Scary Movie's were superior to the others...IMHO...
