razr maxx a good deal?

i found one of these for 200 bucks, and it seems to be worth it. i know its credible also, as im buying it from a friend. the only thing im worried about is if it will work well on t-mobile.

Any 3G aspects of the phone won't work on T-Mobile. GSM and EDGE should work fine.

It's a beautiful phone but the battery is very weak. I would wait till second generation is released or at least till an extended capacity battery is offered for it.
