~~~~~~~~BEGINNING OF RANT~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm still kind of on a rant about Flex-Pay. Grr.... On a side note, why does ONE mall need TWO or even THREE T-mobile Kiosks?????
Until Flex-Pay allows existing TMo2Go customers to transfer their TMo2Go account directly into a FlexPay account, the whole point of having Flex-Pay is a moot point.
As for the saying, "There's a sucker born every minute..." I was "born" yesterday, so to speak, I guess. Walked past a kiosk at the mall and saw the sign, "Free $100 if you don't qualify for $0 deposit." Laughing all the way, I let them run my credit, absolutely POSITIVE they would require a deposit. HAH! I momentarily had forgotten about Flex-Pay. And Flex-Pay, of course, was the only option for me, but technically with a $0 deposit. Grr....
But I took the opportunity to pester yet another set of reps and managers, and confirmed once again that I can't transfer my ToGo number to a Flex-Pay account. So what's the point???? I can get cheaper prepaid minutes through Page Plus, as long as I'm not getting nights/weekends anyway (which I'm not because I refuse to get yet another phone number instead of just transferring the stinkin' ToGo number!)
I'm sure that it will be available eventually. They have put quite a few restrictions on conversions during the first 60 days after launch. This is probably so that they can work the bugs out (just look at the prepaid refilling problems that are going on). One option is if you have an unlocked phone is to port the number to AT&T prepaid, and then port it to Flexpay. Of course you'll have to purchase an AT&T SIM and some minutes for that. Other option is just to wait. It'll happen. I can't see them having that restriction forever.
