View Full Version : Blackberry Pearl 2
I've been searching for a phone to purchase and this seems to fit the bill. What are your thoughts on this phone? It hasn't come out yet.

other than the tacky new colours, i love it. too bad there's no built-in GPS... but the upgraded camera, 4gb microSD card support, and wifi makes it even more awesome than my pearl

I love my Blackberry Pearl and really can't see myself going back to a different device. Every time I consider something else, I remind myself how much I love SureType and instant email retrieval.
I'll definitely be upgrading to the Pearl 2 as soon as it comes out!

What is the model number for the Pearl 2? I'm looking on GSM Arena and can't seem to find it, unless its the Curve?

Do you think the Wifi support on the Pearl 2 will be Hotspot @Home capable?

i'm confident that all new t-mobile phones that have wifi will be @home compatible. just like all new phones are myfaves compatible.

eh, myfaves is easy to implement into a blackberry... it's a very simple app, and most of the functionality is on the provider-side anyway... you can actually use myfaves on a non-myfaves phone by setting your faves on the my.t-mobile site.
yes the pearl2 has wifi, but i don't think the bb api will lend itself to this kind of functionality

There's already an image floating around the web of the Curve using T-Mobile @ Home, so assuming it's legitimate, how would the Pearl 2 be any different?

if it's legitimate, then the same app should work... but my gut says no still lol

I want the 8320 much more.
Someone should post a pros/cons of all the phones that are available right now. Does anyone know of a website that you can search for a phone specifically on features...like megapixels...zoom....etc?
