Why is the city/state required? It should be optional because people that don't want to reveal it, will post fabricated information anyway and those that do wish to post; are going to anyway. Just my $0.02

Sure, I don't mind but was thinking that some probably posted false info since it was required. At least if optional, we would know that those with the info listed did so voluntarily and thus more likely the information is accurate.

Good point! However, I usually can spot spammers but I don't immediately delete them until they spam just to be sure.
