where is the razr 2 v8?

I called Motorola at the end of June and they told me this phone was going to be available first week of July, I recently called them and now they have no date, does anyone have any further info on this phone? I currently have the nokia 5300, whivh is a great phone, however it is too thick, so I am looking to get the Samsung Blast, what do you guys think about the samsung blast, and how good is the rizr?

unlocked V8's are available here in the US. they seem to be imported from china.

You get them unlocked from Asia

this phone is also available in europe as well but havent heard of any being shipped in the US yet (these wouldnt have chinese characters above the numbers on the keypad)
