If you've seen the photos of the Nokia Nuron you'll notice how much it resembles the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. It resembles even more closely the Nokia 5230 without AWS. The photos submitted to the FCC of the two 5230 devices appear to be the same photos submitted twice.
A quick check of the FCC site shows there are two 5230 designated models approved.
LJPRM-593 is the FCC Certification assigned to the AWS enabled 5230 aka Nuron.
LJPRM-594 is the FCC Certification assigned to the 850/1900 WCDMA enabled device.
LJPRM-594 is currently available on the nokiausa.com website. The Nuron, LJPRM-593, was not as of yesterday.
If you purchase a 5230 from an entity other than T-Mobile be sure to ascertain the FCC Certification of the device you are getting to be sure it is the correct device for your network. According to engadget the launch date at T-Mobile for the Nuron is 24 March 2010 at a price of $70.00 with contract extention. No full price information was available at engadget's review.
The draft user guide submitted to the FCC makes no mention of the name Nuron that I could find.
